We had a much better night and weren’t rolled out of
bed! Sometime during the night the big
bouncing stopped and we got a good night’s sleep.
We are about 850 miles from Hawaii and the water temperature
is about 70 degrees but the air temperature is still in the upper 60’s. Only the very hardy and the Canadians are out
by the pools. Speaking of pools, they
have been drained because of all the rough seas but some of the smaller ones
were filled today.
Spent a quiet day just relaxing and taking walks around the
ship. I have, of course, made several
visits to the casino to wave goodbye to my money. This evening though I did get some of it back!!
The morning trivia went well and we came in second
place!! We are getting smarter by the
day! Then I blew it this afternoon and
read the wrong schedule and was an hour late!
Don’t know how the team did or even if they missed me! I’ll find out tomorrow.
Met Doris and Ray for drinks this evening and had a bar
waiter who was an amateur magician! He was
pretty good and very entertaining!!!
The Chinese have again taken over the dining area with
Mahjong games! They must be very wealthy
because they are on EVERY cruise!! They
also don’t understand sharing hallways.
Must be cultural as they charge onto elevators before anyone can get
off!!
Looking forward to warmer weather and calmer seas, hopefully
tomorrow.
XOXOXOXO

Missing trivia? Hmmm....you really mustn't be sleeping well. :-) Thank goodness for the better night last night and calmer seas ahead!
ReplyDeleteThey are missing one of the best high seas events.... Betting on the old folks ...
ReplyDeleteIn twenty foot seas... Clear the deck...put about 10 in wheelchairs and release....
