This is going to bore you to tears but we had pretty much
the same day today as we had yesterday!!
Trivia bridesmaids….once again! In spite of the fact that I nearly hurt
myself coming up with the first and last names of 1.) The author of Hannibal and
Silence of the Lambs and 2.) The gymnast
who helped her team win first place in the Olympics despite a severely injured
ankle!!! Those I came up with but we
didn’t know that the Canadian’s invented the baseball glove! Duh!
A little bumpy today and they called the seas moderate. Whitecaps all around but not too bothersome….or
maybe we’re just used to it!!
I made some money in the casino tonight! Not much and I’m still behind but not nearly
as much!
Watched a terrific group this evening give a performance in
the Piazza of Irish Music! Very
enjoyable and we were also treated to a couple of passengers who took over the
floor in front of the band to display their “Dancing with the Stars”
moves. I was nearly crying with laughter
at these two. They were easily in their
mid sixties. She sort of looked like
Cruella de Ville in a bad wig that had an unearthly “shine” to it. She had on a spaghetti strapped gauze dress
with a black leotard and a bright green sports bra with the straps prominently
displayed. He looked like a seedy Paul
Giammatti who was 30 pounds overweight and very little hair. At one point he helped her get down so she
could do the splits!!! Then at the end
of the “dance” he actually LIFTED her in the air!! They’re lucky the ship didn’t lurch then
because they would have both gone down hard!!
What a couple of nutty show-offs!! Sure was amusing to those of us watching from
the deck above!
Tomorrow is our stop in Ensenada and I’m not sure whether we’ll
get off and wander around or not. Not
much to see.
We’re still having lots of laughs and meeting some very nice
people!
XOXOXOXO
Me
Yuck! I can totally see that couple you described. Had you seen them around before? Just wondered if she's always dressed that way.
