Feb 15th - Sea Day

Tomorrow is the last full sea day before we dock for a few hours in Ensenada on Friday.  It was another stunner of a day with mild temperatures and a pretty calm sea.  No whitecaps!  It did cool off this evening because when we were up on deck after dinner we could see everyone bundled up in jackets and blankets watching “Movies Under the Stars”!!

I attended a Zumba class this morning and could hardly participate because I was laughing so hard at the Chinese!  Did you know they have NO rhythm?  Must have something to do with their driving skills as well!  Hahah!  Their left is our right and their forward is our backward.  Of course, as a beginner I wasn’t much better but at least I was headed in the same direction as the majority!

I am going to have to stop reporting our miserable showings at trivia!  We are becoming famous for being second!!  Two of my teammates will be on the next cruise with me so we will carefully recruit new members.  We’ll call ourselves the Trivia Cult!!

Found out from the Captain today that no passengers disembarked in Honolulu!  He said he thought the rumor came about because some of the entertainers did leave and they were mistaken for paying passengers.  He said the fine for someone leaving before the end of the cruise (after not first touching a foreign port) is $6000!!  Princess would have to pay that fine but I am sure they would also try to get it back somehow!

We went back this evening to see the wonderful pianist and she did not disappoint.  Her show included a really moving tribute to all the veterans aboard.  Very nice.

Sailor Ed stopped off in the casino on our way back to our room and I left him there!  Hope his luck holds!

Our Facebook group had a get-together this afternoon and I met some very nice people.  I also got to spend more time with the nice couple from Berlin that I have been chatting with over the last couple of months.

All for now, kimosabe’s

  1. Zumba! Not an easy class. Besides the ineptitude of the Chinese passengers, was it actually fun?

We'll see if the trivia director gets a clue for the next leg of the cruise and provides questions that can actually be answered!

    What's your Facebook group?
